39 weeks, 6 days and holding!

Hopefully I will go into labor in the next 48 hours, but there's really just no way of knowing. The doctor says I'm 50% effaced and 2-2 1/2 centimeters dilated - which is a good thing, but I could stay this way for another 2 weeks. No matter what, though, she says that she won't let me go past 2 weeks overdue, so this baby is coming soon no matter what! We're just anxious to meet him and see what he looks like (and be inspired to finally choose a name!). We'll be in touch when we have news.
