Months Five and Six

So we finally bit the bullet and bought a new camera. Now we just need to learn how to use all of its features :) In the meantime, we've been taking a lot of practice shots, as you'll see below. Jack's growing up very fast. He's eating solids (rice cereal, oatmeal, pears, prunes, carrots and sweet potatoes - yum!). He LOVES to jump in his jumper. He could seriously do it all day if we let him. And he is now spouting off consonants (ma ma ma, ba ba ba, da da da). That was new today so we are very excited! Oh, and Jack has two new teeth - the two bottom front ones :)

Mommy starts back at work on Monday, so we'll see how that goes. But we found a nanny that we all really like so we are hoping the transition is smooth.

Month Four...

Well, we didn't take many pictures this month, mostly because we've been waiting to buy a new camera but have been hesitant to pull the trigger. But we got a few cute ones nonetheless... As for Jack, he is growing fast. At his last doctor's appointment (about 2 weeks ago), he was 27 inches tall and weighed 15 lbs., 11 oz. Put simply, he's growing faster by length than by width. We're guessing he'll be a lot like his daddy. We have him eating rice cereal now (which he inhales if hungry!). We'll take pics of that soon. And he's also now in the jumper, which he is quickly getting the hang of. We'll post pics of that soon too because it's really fun to see.

The holidays have been a lot of fun for Jack - traveling to the East Coast to visit his Philly family and then heading to Modesto for Christmas with the Damrell clan. Jack's Third Month

So Jack is now three months old and his third month was a big one. He celebrated his first Thanksgiving (first 5 pics below), started getting ready for Christmas, including meeting Santa (!!) (next 4 pics), and, most important, was baptised (last 3 pics). Next week we're heading to Philly so that he can meet the rest of the family, and we're all very excited. We hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying the holiday season!
